True Alaskan Fashion

After lunch today, Kris (the photog for the Valley Bureau) and I spotted a roadside stop selling ice cream. I just noticed today that in the Valley, there are several places that do so, even in winter. Despite the chilly temperatures, ice cream sounded like a great dessert... So I got a blueberry milkshake! Mmmmm.

Kris, who has lived here for about 18 years, says a "true Alaskan" eats ice cream in the winter. Haha.
