The Midnight Sun
This is what Alaska looks like at midnight in July… despite it being a cloudy evening! In the winter, I slept an average of 9 hours a night. I'm lucky to get 6 or 7 now. It's not that the light keeps me awake. I think it's just that with the days being so long, I lose track of time and before ya know it, it's midnight and you're still hanging out in downtown. Haha. But I don't feel tired, like I would think I would from being sleep deprived. I'm sure it'll catch up to me by late Fall when the days keep getting shorter. Until then, here's to summer in Alaska!
