Boating on Big Lake

Bob’s friend Paul invited us to hang out with him & his girlfriend, Samantha, this weekend at the summer home he is renting on Big Lake – about 30 minutes north of Wasilla. When we first arrived, Paul took me and Steph out on his boat, and he let me drive it! That was very cool. And Paul borrowed one of his buddy’s waverunners so Bob and I drove around the Lake on it. The weather was very pretty early in the day – lots of sunshine, warm temperatures. Unfortunately it clouded up by the evening.










We had an awesome seafood dinner on Saturday because the day before, Bob had taken off work to go shrimping and fishing with another friend. Our meal was followed by drinks at a cute little bar on one of the Lake’s islands.
