A week in Washington

I am spending this week in Washington state with Bob, the boys, & Bob's family (parents & siblings). We initially flew into Seattle but then caught a connecting flight to Yakima -- which is where he's from and where his parents still live. Stayed a few days in Yakima at his parents' farm... but then drove to Seattle to spend a few days with his sister Laura. It was at least 90+ degrees in Yakima because it's desert. So when we were leaving for Seattle, Bob's Mom, Sheila, said, You better take some warm clothes, it's only about 75 degrees in the city. 75?! That will still be warm for us Alaskans acclimated to 50s and 60s during the summer.

Me, Bob & the boys wandered around Seattle for a little bit but then decided to take one of those Duck Tours where the bus first drives around in the city... but then emerges into the water. It was so much fun! Definitely worth checking out if you ever get the chance.
